4. Get listed in hobby directories like the one at Hobbiez.com and sites/directories related to your specific hobby - as many as you can find. This helps search engine algorithms recognize you for what you are, a hobby related web site, while generating relevant traffic.

5. Do something crazy with your hobby to get free press.

6. Leave smart comments in blogs, like the one in Hobbiez (search from the main page for a relevant article, then post comments, with backlinks to your site so that people can find the source of your INTELLIGENT contribution.
